The mechanism works in a way so as to act as a deterrent disallowing the rodents or insects to damage the treated application ad thus safeguarding the same; in the process also allowing for the safety of human health, target and non target species and the environment.
For rodents and animals/birds:
The primary and the most pivotal defense against rodent attack. Combirepel®™ mimics the smell of predator urine thus exploiting the olfactory response of the rodents
which would approach an application. Thus rodents in majority of the cases tend to stay
away from the application thus preventing damage.
Combirepel®™causes severe distress to the mucosa of the animal in case of contact
which could be accidental/ despite the fear mechanism.
Combirepel®™ triggers an unpleasant reaction within any rodent which might try to
gnaw away at the application, ensuring that it won't bite again. Our labs have
confirmed that in almost all such cases where the rodent might try to chew the
substance incorporated with Combiepel®™, it won't bite again.
After encountering the above mentioned emotions the animal instinctively perceives
that Combirepel®™ is something it should stay away from and stores this information
for future reference. This means that the next time it encounters Combirepel®™ it
shall be more often than not automatically repelled.
The unpleasant experience with Combirepel®™ is imprinted within the animal's
memory and passed on to its progeny. The next generation of evolved rodents
would therefore be effectively repelled.
For termites and insects:
Combirepel®™ acts as a repellent by way of which the application when treated
with the same merely keeps the termites/insects away rather than killing them.
Combirepel®™ triggers an unpleasant reaction within any termite which might
try to feed on the application, ensuring that it is repelled from feeding on the treated area.
It temporarily impairs the ability of insects to reproduce, i.e. the female will not
lay eggs. This in turn restricts the growth of the colony thus containing the scope
of destruction.
It temporarily blocks the reproduction system of the insects by hindering the release
of the vital hormones for growth. This impairs the growth cycle of the insects thus
preventing them from reaching maturity. This is a temporary effect which lasts as
long as the insect is in contact with the treated area and it is lifted once the
inscts move away from the same.
It temporarily inhibits the mating cycle of the termites.
It temporarily hampers the reproduction cycle of insects by sterilization.
